DMI's Pro Staff is made of multiple members offering a wide range of different skill sets. They each have a unique background involving firearm training, manipulation and application. As a team they have created different curriculum involving Pistols, Carbines, and Shotguns.

Performance is universal regardless of your desired application. Profession users, such as Law Enforcement, Military, or Contract Worker, look for the same performance edge as self defense minded civilians and competitors. Our instructors come from various backgrounds that allow us to work towards your own personal needs.
Jeff Wild
Owner/ Lead Pistol instructor
Jeff brings 15 years of firearms training experience to his role as an instructor. With a strong competitive shooting background in IDPA, ACTS, and 3 Gun, he is well-equipped to teach shooters of all levels. His passion for the sport and dedication to training help students enhance skills and build confidence on the range. Join Jeff to take your shooting abilities to the next level!
William Caruso
Lead Medical Instructor
Will Caruso Will is a Fire Captain and Paramedic Instructor with nearly 20 years of experience. He has served with three departments in SE Michigan, Ecorse, Taylor, and Northville Township, the latter which he currently acts as EMS Coordinator for.
In addition to his fire department duties he spent 8 years as a Medic for a regional SWAT Team and is certified as an EMT-Tactical. Other provider experience includes working as an emergency room Paramedic in hospitals such as The University of Michigan and DMCs Sinai Grace Hospital on the west side of Detroit. Will’s educational experience spans 15 years teaching EMTs, Paramedics, Firefighters and Law Enforcement as well as hospital based providers such as RNs, PAs, and Physicians.
